It's all over!

Thanks to everyone who contributed from around the world, as well as the many, many people who came down to the HiFi bar and of course the London contingent who, among many other sterling achievements, got Terry Jones to come down and say hi.

This material will be left online as an archive of what happened during the show. I'll try to upload the video feeds soon.

 Hi guys - Streams 1 & 2 are now live! so get on it! Our roving cam is also available on stream 3 most of the time.

 Also, there's an official diary to your left... just click "Official Diary". It should update every minute or so.

You can even update your OWN 24 hour show diary. We shall refer back to these from time to time.

You can click "My Tasks" to take on tasks and submit photos and text of your progress.

Hi there, and welcome to the latest of Mark Watson's ill-advised forays into endurance comedy - a show in which he will literally attempt a benevolent takeover of the world.

But of course he cannot do this alone; in fact, the whole show will be an exercise in massive-scale collaboration. Using technology and goodwill, we aim to bring together people from all over the globe in cooperative stunts, games, songs, philanthropic acts, and other endeavours too strange to describe. We need the help of volunteers from around the globe to gather information, photos, videos and more in the lead-up to the show. And of course during the show itself. As well as people to follow the mayhem from across the world, whether for a few minutes, or for the full, draining twenty-four hours.

It's going to be at the Hi Fi Bar on Swanston Street. NOT the Umbrella Revolution. The HI FI. The venue's been changed for a number of reasons, all good. It will start at eleven fifty nine pm on Sunday April 6. That is, 2359 hours on Sunday April 6. The end of Sunday, to put it another way. It will then go all the way through Monday. There’ll be no advance tickets; just turn up on the night.

It’s going to be at the Red Hedgehog, in Highgate, beginning at 1259 hours – one minute before one pm – on Sunday April 6. You’ll be able to follow things on screens, drink coffee, and sometimes sit in total bemusement. It will be like a sleepover party where you’re not sure who the host is.
